What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
We will begin with an introduction to the instrument. Then we will cover a brief history of the oboe, finishing the class with how students new to the oboe can get started. Discover the Oboe will be taught in three sections with opportunities for questions and discussion in between each section. I enjoy teaching in an upbeat and friendly manner that fosters a space for discussion, openness, and inclusivity. The class is centered around a Powerpoint presentation that I will reference throughout our time together. I have also created handouts which include important information that we will cover during class. No experience with the oboe or music is required.
