We will discuss "Asking Questions" and practice the skill during the class. Students will learn what it means to ask thoughtful questions about the text, the different question starter words/phrases, and why asking meaningful questions is important to reading comprehension. - Students will improve their reading comprehension by developing the skill of Asking Questions in order to better understand texts that they read.
Please bring a white board and marker OR paper and pencil to class. You may also bring a book to share. If we have time at the end of class, students may take turns reading a little from their own book so we can form more questions!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
