Having friends over, or a fun movie night with the family? Then it's time to get snackin'! As a proud snack lover, these are some of my favorite dips to share (or sometimes even enjoy myself), and they're all easier than they might first appear! Over the four weeks of this course, we'll delve into two different ways to make onion dip, two different ways to make queso dip, how to make guacamole, how to make a five layer dip, and finally, how to make a delicious buffalo chicken dip! Week One: Onion Dip, two ways Week Two: Queso Dip, two ways Week Three: Guacamole Week Four: Five Layer Dip Week Five: Buffalo Chicken Dip This course is for all levels of experience in the kitchen, and involves some knife work, so parental supervision is encouraged. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! I'm Sam!
I've been teaching on Outschool for just over three years, and it's been an absolute delight. I primarily offer courses focusing on art, design, and some more "nerdy" ventures, such as video games and roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons.
I studied Product Design at Parsons School for Design, which is where I now also teach a couple of drawing courses. I am also a professional woodworker and illustrator. I have been teaching on and off (primarily on) for about 15 years now, in various settings.
I enjoy teaching a great deal and remember that when I was in school, the teachers that were having more fun with it tended to inspire more from me, so I try to bring that to my classes.
A quick fun fact about me is that I'm really into Norse Mythology. The Viking gods and goddesses, as well as the stories that go along with them, are fascinating to me.
Looking forward to meeting you!
