In this one time class, students will learn 10 sight words as they hunt for dinosaur eggs.

Do you like Dinosaurs? Do you like hunting for objects? Then this class is for you! During this class you will help the adult dinosaurs look for their eggs that are lost and bring them back to their parents. Each egg will show us what dinosaur it is and then lead us to a sight word to read before we can find another egg. These sight words include "and, in, the, to, you, for, it, said, a and I" I will change these up at the beginning of every month so kids can take this class again if they want to. We will start class by sharing a favorite food, princess, dinosaur anything like that and where we live (just the state or province and nation) Then we will play a little ice breaker game like I spy, Simon Says, Rock Paper Scissors, Etc. After that we will head into the lesson and I will help the students if they need it. If it is to easy for them I may make it a little more challenging. The escape room should only take about 20 min or so depending on how fast they complete it. If there is time left over we will play another game like scavenger hunt or draw a picture of a dinosaur. Come lets help these dinosaur parents find their babies!

Hi, my name is Tracey Campbell! I am so glad to be here and be part of your child's learning. I have more than 15 years experience in working with children. For the past 4 years I have worked in a school looking after kids ages 4-12 before and after school as well as helping kids one on one with math and English.
