In this ongoing class, students will learn about a different dinosaur each week. Lesson will include 3-5 facts, vocabulary, interactive games to check understanding and a short story. ESL Friendly class! You can join the class at any time. Students will also receive additional resources each week to extend their learning at home. Sample schedule 25 minutes 5 minutes - Welcome and Dino of the Day 15 minutes- Mini lesson (vocabulary, reading, sorting) 5 minutes- review & closing Week of July 24- T-Rex Week of July 31- Velociraptor Week of August 7- Stegosaurus Week of August 14- Triceratops Week of August 21- Pterodactyl Week of August 28- Brachiosaurus Week of September 4- Spinosaurus Week of September 11- Iguanodon Week of September 18- Ankylosaurus Week of September 25- Brontosaurus Week of October 2- Giganotosaurus

Hi everyone! Welcome to class! I am Miss Kate. I have 15+ years of teaching experience with students ages 2-14 years old. I am passionate about early childhood education and building the foundation for life long learning. My classes will be engaging and focus on a variety of topics including early literacy, early math and life skills. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and 3 (yes, three) big dogs!
I believe in engaging and playful learning and will teach my classes in a fun and interactive way including songs, digital & interactive games, and lots of interaction and opportunities for engagement.
I am certified to teach K-8 Elementary, K-12 Special Education and Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have a certificate in Child Psychology from Penn Foster, a certificate in Autism Studies from Arizona State University and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University. I love to teach and look forward to meeting your child!
