In this one-time class, we will go back in time- about 68 million years to dive into the Cretaceous time period. We will discover everything that there is to know about the incredible Triceratops! The information will be delivered in a class discussion style that is centered around a visually informing power point presentation. We will learn about their diet, habitat, interesting traits, common misconceptions, their discovery, and more. At the end of this class, all learners are guaranteed to become an expert on the wonderful Triceratops. All learners are encouraged to share and ask questions, because there is no such thing as a bad question, thought, or prediction! At the end of the class we will create a Triceratops face using just 2 paper plates, perfect to add to any art collection. * Required materials are listed down below* * The printable is OPTIONAL*

Students will be instructed to use scissors for a small portion of the project and may require some assistance.

- Attached printable coloring sheet (optional) - 2-3 white paper plates with the ruffled edge -Scissors - Glue stick -Markers * If you are unable to gather these materials, just bring a piece of paper, pencil, and crayons).

My name is Mrs. M, I am a mother of two young children, a teacher and military veteran. I currently have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I am working on a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
