This class is for students currently taking Mathematical Thinking: Singapore Math Full Curriculum 4A/4B, who need some extra help with the homework. This class is not long enough to review every problem on the homework. Students will be expected to work on the problems BEFORE class, and then come to class with specific questions on problems they had trouble with. I am a certified elementary teacher who has been teaching hands-on math to young children for over 20 years. I have taught in a variety of settings, including public school, private school, and homeschool environments. I have been teaching Math on Outschool for over 4 years.
Homework Offered
Homework will be posted in the classroom each Friday morning for the following week. Students will be expected to complete the homework before class. We will NOT review every problem in the homework. Instead students should be prepared to ask questions about specific problems they had trouble with. Students will take turns asking questions. Depending on the number of students in any give class, they may not have time to ask every question they have.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
