Pick your level - K-5 math. This is a full math curriculum, taught 1 on 1cand started whenever you'd like. You will receive a digital workbook and manipulatives. Daily 30 minute instruction.

Homework
1-2 hours per week. Homework will be assigned for two days per week and should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. If you find it is taking longer than 30 minutes or emotions are beginning to run high, stop immediately and we can discuss areas in need of improvement at the next live lesson.Assessment
Most assessment is through observation. Optional formal assessments can be provided; however, it is usually apparent whether the student understands simply by watching him or her complete work independently.Class Experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
Having trouble with your homeschool math class? Here is your solution. Utilizing a well-structured curriculum, students will work through their math course with one on one assistance from a certified elementary and special education teacher (me!), covering one lesson for 30 minutes per day, three times per week with assignments given as independent practice on the off days. (The curriculum recommends limiting the amount of time spent on each lesson in order to help the brain process what is being taught.) Choose which level to begin with. If you aren't sure, please reach out and we can set up some placement testing.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their math fact fluency, computation skills, and problem-solving abilities. Specific scope and sequence depends on the grade level. If you are interested in a specific grade level, please let me know and I can provide more details.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students will utilize the Math-U-See curriculum. Students will be assigned their own account to access materials.
Supply List
It is not required, but recommended, that parents purchase the physical manipulatives kit which can be used through all grade levels and for multiple children at a time. Many students who are hands-on learners do better with the manipulatives in their hands. You can often find these kits used at a discounted rate. Even if a few pieces are missing, that is fine since all the blocks will not be used at once.
