I am a historian, a thespian, and a member of the Queer (asexual, trans-nonbinary) community. (fae/faer). I have spent the better part of my life working with at-risk youths and helping them to turn their lives around and become comfortable with the best versions of themselves. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in History specializing in Asian History and Folklore with a minor in Theatre in 2017. After that, I graduated from Arizona State University with a master’s in World History in 2019. I have taught LGBTQ+ history, Medieval European and Asian history, Comics and Pop Culture history, Theatre, Writing, Folklore, and Occult studies for the last six years. I also love writing stories and plays in my free time and run RPG games on the side.
This course is a safe space for students identifying either as LGBTQ+ or as an ally. Any student can be an ally, so long as they are open to learning about ideas related to identifying as LGBTQ+. Students will confront concepts such as war, death, and the dark nature of humanity, as well as various queer romances and experiences. It does feature fantasy violence, dark themes, and romantic, traumatic, and various adult situations and themes. It is at its core a dark horror fantasy. Note that the source material is written with adult characters who are sucked into a game and mess with time.
