In this 4 week Diamond Club Learning Pod students will begin learning concepts "for most" and reviewing addition, subtraction, and multiplication. This is a fun and creative learning environment that allows children to use manipulatives to help them problem solve. This approach gives children an opportunity to see things in different way and gives them an opportunity to enjoy learning. This is a open ended class that allows children to communicate and answer questions in a pressure free environment. We use lots of fun and creative items to solve math problems. Below you will find the weekly schedule:
Week One-
Adding with two digit numbers (with and without carrying) "Each skill will be taught"
Week Two-
Subtraction with two digit numbers (with carrying) "Each skill will be taught"
Week Three- 
Multiplication-Skip counting "Each skill will be taught"
Week Four- 
Concept Review and Reteach "Each skill will be taught"

My teaching style is Montessori inspired and I have a degree in education and health and human services. This degree has allowed me to gain skills and knowledge when it comes to teaching and communicating with children of all ages. 

This class is part of a POD and different timed PODS will have different specials that go with them. Our POD classes run consistently Mon.-Fri. Your student will be with the same group of students for all 5 days. When you find the one that your student wants, simply come back here and sign up for that class time. 

This POD meets Monday-Friday
