Each week, learners will be presented with a new design challenge followed by a short series of images to spark ideas and provide inspiration to solve our design challenge. The images are not fashion-related! We will learn how to use inspiration from the world around us in an artistic and creative way (think Project Runway group challenge, but with paper and pencils instead of fabric and sewing machines!) This class will teach creative problem-solving skills in a fun, interactive environment. Students will experience what it is like to be part of a design team while flexing their creative muscles in new ways each week. We will be sketching with pencils and coloring with markers or colored pencils. No previous experience is required. This class meets once a week, but the classes do not build on each other, so if you miss a class, you can jump right back in!
