This class is more for fun, but it does encourage many challenging thoughts that often play out as a developing factor in life. Problem solving, creative thinking, teamwork, and morals & ethics are some examples that come to mind right away.

This 𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 adventure is jam-packed with a plethora of monsters to discover and defeat. Players will join together to fight against zombies, skeletons, werewolves, vampires, witches, and so much more. Players in my adventures need nothing more than a computer as I will provide all the necessary books and guides. This campaign is great for both new and old players.

On the first day, characters will be created and the start of the adventure will be leaked. The following sessions will be the adventure.

I will be running them through the published campaign book titled 'Curse of Strahd.' Parents are welcome to read the material, but I don't recommend players doing so, as it will be a huge spoiler to the story. Some of the content will be toned down for the audience.
Learning Goals
Students will get to pick up on social cues, experience team building exercises, develop critical thinking skills, gain math and reading comprehension, engage in moral and ethics discussions, creative story building and character creation experience, creating in-game and in real life bonds and friendships, and more.

Parental Guidance
Dungeons & Dragons is a roleplaying game that involves players defeating monsters and villains using imaginary swords, axes, hammers, bows and magic. The violence involved is imaginary. The use of alcohol is a trope in this game, but not actually a key aspect - for example, the players will sometimes meet in a tavern to receive quests. There are monsters such as witches and devils in Dungeons & Dragons. Players will sometimes run across these creatures in their games, but they aren't intended to be worshiped or idolized - they are often written into the story with the expressed intention that they be defeated.
Supply List
Please have a computer with a mouse if you can. Tablets are okay, but they don't interact with the maps very well. Also, Chrome and Firefox are the preferred internet browser for Roll20. Edge doesn't like to load and Safari turns Roll20 into a Picasso.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have 6 years (10,000 hours+) of Dungeon Master experience and now I teach D&D to new players as well as new Dungeon Masters.
I am trying out a way to teach D&D to more people through actively playing the game, instead of just teaching the rules.
