In this fun painting class, students will learn two watercolor techniques: Crayon Resist and Wet-on-Wet.
We will draw dandelion fluffs in pencil, and then draw over them with a white crayon (My example is outlined in Sharpie because the painting was too light to show the white of the crayon). Stems and leaves will be drawn in with green crayons.
Once finished, we will paint the background using wet-on-wet watercolor, allowing the color to spread and diffuse, while the wax of the crayons resists the paint.
