Class Experience
What makes a great after-school club? Itโs where amazing people come together to do something that they love. Weโre looking for mighty adventurers to come together each week for the love of the game, Dungeons & Dragons. We have just two rules to follow: 1. Weโre here to learn and experience D&D with people who want to do the same. 2. Most importantly, have fun! Thatโs it. Weโre here to enjoy ourselves, and to be excellent adventuring companions to one another. This club is all about...
Iโve played and been a dungeon master (DM) for every version of D&D created, from the original box sets to the current 5th edition. And I still love it. Why? Because imagination matters. Storytelling matters. Myths and legends and adventures arenโt just something to watch in the movies, they are something for us to live and create and experience together. No matter who you are or where youโre from, I want to help you tell your story. I want to help unlock your imagination and work together to create the world that you want to be in and explore. As a D&D teacher and DM, thatโs what I do โ create an open and accepting space where you can have some fun and be yourself, through the lens of wild and fantastical characters.

We'll be creating our characters together in our first session. 2. Create a free account with www.roll20.net. You MUST have this set up before the session begins. If you need help, please contact me in the days prior to the class.
Please bring paper and a pen or pencil to D&D Adventure Club. In addition, adventurers will need a free account with www.roll20.net to play the game. Optional supplies that adventurers may want to acquire (but arenโt required): 1) Dungeons and Dragons Basic Rules, a free downloadable document you can find with a quick Google search. 2) Dungeons and Dragons Player Handbook for 5th Edition. This is a more comprehensive guide than the free Basic Rules listed above. 3) A set of 7 polyhedral dice.
