What will be taught? Students will learn foundational coding concepts, including programming events, generating effects with AI, and creating interactive elements for a dance party. Topics Covered: Introduction to AI and its role in creativity Basic coding with drag-and-drop blocks Programming events like keystrokes and timers Using AI to generate colorful special effects Class Structure: Warm-Up (5 minutes): Icebreaker discussion about creativity and how AI can assist. Main Activity (45 minutes): Introduction to the Dance Party platform Coding dance moves and events Using AI to enhance visual effects Free exploration and creation of a custom dance party Wrap-Up (5 minutes): Reflect on the activity and discuss the role of AI in creative processes. Teaching Style & Interaction: This class will be highly interactive and hands-on, with students coding in real-time, discussing ideas, and sharing their projects. Learners will receive guidance through live coding demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and peer collaboration.
