This 8-week beginner hip hop course will be conducted just like an in-person hip hop lesson! We will dive into the two themes, learning different hip hop routines every week. Class will start off with a warm-up, stretch, cardio, hip hop tricks and each class will have an activity! Feel free to dress up! Hip Hop Hooray!!!
Class experience
This course is a beginner level hip-hop class. Each week there will be a warm-up during each class which will include stretching, cardio and hip-hop moves. Choreography will be taught each class! During class, students will be muted. This helps with the sound quality and for the video to always be on the teacher so everyone can view the steps at all times. The goal is to have fun, exercise and learn 8 different routines by the end of the 8 week semester. Students will also have some time to be social with their classmates and engage in other activities including games and crafts!
I have been teaching for 21 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Week 2: “Uma”/“Harry” pirate hats printout, scissors, stapler or tape, string, crayons and other items to decorate their hat. Week 3: Pretend sword or something similar Week 4: Trivia printout Week 5: Descendants or Zombies inspired snack Week 6: 2-3 Plastic grocery bags or 2-3 pieces of tissue paper or paper. Scissors, tape. Week 7: Zombie Bingo printout Week 8: Zombie Language Quiz and Zombie Name Game printouts
Make sure to have enough space to move around in a safe environment. Be sure to have water nearby and make sure to have comfortable clothing on. Crafts may need scissors. (Dance at your own risk.)
