This beginners upbeat, hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements. We will warm-up, stretch and learn a fun hip hop routine for Dad/Grandfather/Uncle/Father Figure in your child's life! During class we will make a craft for Father's Day!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies for about 7 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine. (25 -30 minutes) During class we will have a couple breaks that includes an activity for about 5-7 minutes! We will make a Father’s Day card! *The duration of the warm-up and choreography time may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate...
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine for Dad or father figure by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 21 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

Students will not need to purchase any materials. Make sure that the room is clear, a bottle of water is nearby and the student has comfortable clothing to move in. ***Students should bring a piece of paper to make a Father's Day Card and something to write or color with.***
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing.
