Parental Guidance
We may use Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Slides and Google Sheets for teaching our class and for informal assessments during our class. Student may require a Gmail account to use them.
For class notes, I will be using Zoom Screen Share to share the Primary Mathematics 4A Questions to complete in class. Students will be predominately writing in their own Primary Mathematics workbook to complete classwork. Occasionally there may be worksheet that will be required to be printed out at home to complete for extra practice and those will be attached to sent to parent before or after our session.
Pre-Requisites
Student must have finished Grade 7.
Supply List
Grade 8 section (7:00am-7:30am Pacific time) This class will have two optional math textbooks. We will be doing the math questions using screen share during class. Some students would prefer to also have a physical copy of the textbook so they can copy and write down their answers. The name of the textbook is Math Mammoth 8A and Math Mammoth 8B. You may wish to start to just purchase Book 8A first and then when you are almost done Book 8A then order Book 8B :) Here's the link to the textbooks: Math Mammoth 8A (ISBN: 9781954358522) and Math Mammoth 8B (9781954358539) https://www.amazon.com/Math-Mammoth-Grade-8-Worktext/dp/1954358520/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3HJJC924T48KD&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.WkBceFrj0lK6gqkO6EXyHv_HdMbgtcz-P-pXLri5m-M.2FJeSUJR2PGZwv5g4sbRxiXFUWHyN4cpuPjMjGq8Fjc&dib_tag=se&keywords=math+mammoth+8a&qid=1714677742&s=books&sprefix=math+mammoth+8a%2Cstripbooks-intl-ship%2C121&sr=1-1 https://www.amazon.com/Math-Mammoth-Grade-8-B-Worktext/dp/1954358539/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2TP5YU6SN1AZN&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.KGxECvovbzeeadDZWUsDjQ.5FdrcdnIgXabeZVrVS57Am6-_qgi1XGD7nsyOq_h-ZY&dib_tag=se&keywords=math+mammoth+8b&qid=1714677729&s=books&sprefix=math+mammoth+8b%2Cstripbooks-intl-ship%2C128&sr=1-1
