In this ongoing class/club, I teach students all about dinosaurs! Each class meeting (3x/week), we learn about a different dinosaur. We discuss scientific facts about dinosaurs based on what scientists and paleontologists know/believe to be true. "Daily Dose of Dinosaurs Club" is a casual, interactive class that is educational and fun! I share pictures and videos of dinosaurs, what they ate (were they carnivores, omnivores, or herbivores?), dinosaur bones/fossils, skeleton locations and who...
Students will learn facts about all types of dinosaurs. They will learn about dinosaur bones/fossils, where the bones were found, who found them, the time period when they likely existed, possible/probable causes of dinosaur extinction, what dinosaurs ate (were they carnivores, omnivores, or herbivores?), how they spent their lives, and everything else related to dinosaurs!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We will refer to pictures and videos that are online. I will share my screen, and students will not be required to access any websites or other sources.
