Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm so happy you are here! My name is Stacey and I am a teacher turned work-at-home mom. I am so excited to bring my love for teaching into the virtual classroom!

I have spent the better part of my life with kids. I have babysat, been a nanny and provided in-home child care to many different families over the years. I was awarded my B.A in Elementary Education and Spanish from Carthage College in 2009 and awarded my M. Ed from The American College of Education in 2013. I have over 10 years of teaching experience both in-person and online.

I believe that every learner is special and unique and learns best when they are doing things they love to do. This is why my favorite way to teach kids is by connecting with them through high-interest topics and real-life connections. My classes are filled with energy, silliness, laughter, imagination and of course learning!

When I am not teaching, I love to travel and explore our beautiful planet, read books, learn new things, run and spend time with my family,

I can't wait to get to know your learner in my classroom. Let's have some fun together and learn while we are at it! See you soon!
