Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this class, learners will focus on CVC words. Word Families - Focus On: -ad, -ob, -ub, -ed. CVC words are essential to learning how to transform sounds into words. This phonemic awareness skill is vital to learning how to blend and read. Learn how to read CVC words through blending letter sounds, engaging activities, games, and lots of repetition.

Students will need to know most letter sounds before this class.

Your child should have a whiteboard, marker, and eraser to practice words during class. Your child will need a tub of playdough, crayons, and a pencil.

Class 5: Focus On: Word Families: -ad, -ob, -ub, -ed
Week 1: -ad family
Week 2: -ob family
Week 3: -ub family
Week 4: -ed family

 I am a licensed teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education with more than 13 years of experience teaching children in a school setting. In addition, I hold a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, emphasizing STEAM and Online Teaching and Learning Certification.
