Class Experience

In this class students will learn how to follow verbal and visual step-by-step drawing instructions in a group setting.  We will draw a Kawaii Kitty step-by-step with the whole class, and students will be encouraged to add their own artistic flare to our drawing. I always encourage students to bring their favorite stuffed animal to share with the class! Students may choose to use lead pencil, colored pencils, crayons, or markers to draw and color their Kawaii Kitty. I always suggest having 2-4 sheets of white paper just in case!

1 x black marker or black crayon
Lead pencil or sketch pencil
Crayons, colored pencils or markers are optional (some kids like to add colorful additions to their artwork)

Helo! My name is Nita Hudson and I teach classes that are educational and fun. I have 5 years of teaching experience and currently teach English online. I have a bachelor's degree in business and a 120-hour TEFL certificate to teach English as a second language.

I am passionate about teaching children and love exploring all aspects of the English language. My teaching style is fun and fruitful; we always have fun learning new things!  I like to challenge students to grow as they learn new things. I focus on building students’ confidence, adding to their vocabulary and making learning very enjoyable for kids.

I teach students of all ages and I am very patient. I use the correct pronunciation and error correction functions as needed, and I always treat students with kindness.

For fun I enjoy hiking and fishing with my husband, 11 year old daughter and my 2 dogs.

**CLASS POLICIES**

*All class times are approximate.  Class length may vary due to student ability and class size.  Classes are designed to be no longer than the time allotted but will sometimes go longer if the class is full. 

*Late/Missed Class Policy - All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom.  In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit the classroom after 10 minutes.  Class recordings are available upon request.

***Tardy Policy - Learners who have missed ten minutes or more of the class time should request a transfer.  Instruction is given step-by-step, so tardiness detracts from everyone's learning experience. I close the classroom after 12 minutes so the learning experience is not interrupted or delayed for students already in the class. I am happy to work with you to try to meet your scheduling needs and want each learner to have an optimal experience!
