Students will work to improve their cursive handwriting through teacher guidance and interactive games
As a Nationally Board certified teacher and one who spent many years in 2nd and 3rd grade, I love teaching handwriting. Although many may find handwriting to be antiquated, there are so many benefits to learning how to write properly. Teaching cursive was always one of my favorite units. Many children find handwriting to be laborious, but I always work to make it a fun and exciting adventure. You will find my teaching style to be very energetic and enthusiastic and I want your child to feel vested in their own writing. Good handwriting is very important and helping children see and understand that is always one of my goals. I want your child to feel successful and proud of what they have accomplished as they work to strengthen their cursive writing skills. I hope you'll join in to experience the excitement and joy that can come with handwriting!
There will be no additional homework for this class; however, please see the course description about a weekly challenge activity.
