In this on going class students will tackle topics specific to agriculture. There will be a planned topic each week but the teacher will work as a facilitator. With extensive experience in the daily realities of agriculture and formal education in the topic the teacher will strive to expand the perspective of students. Current Issues in agriculture are issues because there are at least two valid sides to the dilemma. Students will discuss the issue from a legal, ethical, financial and logistical perspective.
The teacher will choose a topic and provide some resources prior to class so students have a basis of knowledge and understanding. 
If a current issue in agriculture arises this schedule may be adjusted.
