I have a degree in political science with a concentration in international relations, and much of my time in college was spent analyzing and synthesizing news from different global sources. My background also includes a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning and a graduate certificate in Gifted Education. I have experience with gifted students, students on the spectrum, students with disabilities, and everything in between :)
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Topics will vary from week to week in class, and some topics may be considered controversial by some. All conversation is expected to be mature. All students are reminded when joining the class that this is a safe environment and that there are productive ways to disagree with others.
We will use various online news sources.
Excited about learning!
