This class is a fun book club where each week we will read 2 chapters of Cupcake Diaries: Katie and the Cupcake Cure, a book by Coco Simon. Students will have the chance to read and talk about the chapter. The class will allow students to learn about new characters from the book and identify with those characters. Week 1: We will read over Chapters 1 and 2 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 1 and 2 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 2: We will read over Chapters 3 and 4 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 3 and 4 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 3: We will read over Chapters 5 and 6 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 5 and 6 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 4: We will read over Chapters 7 and 8 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 7 and 8 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 5: We will read over Chapters 9 and 10 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 9 and 10 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 6: We will read over Chapters 11 and 12 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 11 and 12 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 7: We will read over Chapters 13 and 14 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 13 and 14 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 8: We will read over Chapters 15 and 16and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 15 and 16 if we didn't finish them in class. Week 9: We will read over Chapters 17 and 18 and discuss the chapters. Homework: Finish Chapters 17 and 18 if we didn't finish them in class.
