Project completionClass Experience
The four-lesson hands-on class introduces learners to: paragraph formatting, letter formatting, the format painter, symbols, tables, find and replace, wrapping text, themes, header/footer, tabs, page borders, page numbers, and the navigation pane. This class includes hands-on worksheets for learners to complete to help them sync in these skills. This is the second segment of the Word portion of the technology applications class that I taught in middle school for 20 years. I wrote the curriculum based on skill requirements set by the state of Texas. The Word portion is divided into two basic parts. Class 1 – Paragraph formatting Class 2 – Format painter, symbols, tables, find and replace, header/footer Class 3 – Letter formatting, inserting and framing images, wrapping text and themes Class 4 – Tabs, page borders, page numbers, navigation pane Prerequisites: Cruising for Skills on Microsoft Word Pt 1 or equivalent skills. Needed for this class: Computer with video, sound and document saving capability, newer version of Microsoft Word (2019 or Office 365).
