Class Experience

Ingredients:
Serves 4 people

8 slices good quality white sandwich bread or sourdough
4 tbs melted butter
12 ounces of thin-sliced black forest or good quality deli ham
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup grated gruyere cheese
2 tbsp UNSALTED butter (do not melt)
2 tbs all purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
1 cup shredded gruyere cheese (best when freshly grated)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
pinch of nutmeg
2 tbs vegetable oil
4 large eggs
salt and pepper
2 tsp butter
Vegetable spray


Equipment:
6-8" non-stick pan
12" non-stick pan
microplane
box grater
knife
cutting board
measuring cups and spoons
baking sheet
flip rubber spatula
whisk
small pot
Foil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
PG is needed for the use of the stove and handling of sharp and hot objects in the kitchen.
