Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Does your upper-beginner level crocheter want to expand their crochet skills and explore the exciting world of amigurumi (crochet stuffed toys)? Join me for this fun and engaging 7-week course where learners ages 8-12 will learn to make 2 crochet stuffed animals, a penguin 🐧 and a turtle 🐢. We will learn the most common stitches used to make amigurumi, including the criss-cross "x" single crochet, magic ring, increase, decrease, and changing colours. We will then put these stitches into practice when making our amigurumi. This course is intended for upper-beginner level learners. Learners should already know the chain, slip stitch, and single crochet stitches before enrolling in this course.

I have been crocheting for over 30 years! My mother taught me how to crochet when I was 8 years old, and I've never stopped. Crocheting is a wonderful way to release stress and anxiety, while being creative at the same time.
