In this 4-week course unravel the mysteries of yarn and hooks as students dive into the fascinating world of crochet. This course is designed to guide beginners through the basic tools and stitches as well as foster a love for crochet.

Class experience

US Grade 5 - 7
Beginner Level
Students will improve their skill level in crochet. The possibilities are endless when it comes to crochet. Goals for this class include the slipknot, chain, single crochet, turning chain, rows, and weaving in the ends. 
I have been crocheting for over 20 years and I want to share my love of this craft with my students. 
Homework Offered
Students will want to practice the lessons taught each week to improve their crochet skills.

Students will need hooks (I/5.5mm or J/6mm), yarn (bulky 5 weight), yarn needle, stitch markers, tape measure, scissors, and any patterns they are working on.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be using scissors to cut yarn. Please make sure your learner knows how to safely use scissors.
YouTube will be used to share additional instructional videos with students.
