We will be learning how to create shapes, make them smaller or bigger and how to put them together to bring pur imagination to live. Prior crochet knowledge is needed to join this class as we will be using basic crochet knowledge for this class. In addition to the hands-on crochet instruction, the classes also include interactive activities to keep learners engaged and excited. These activities will involve storytelling sessions where we will share fun and imaginative stories related to dolls, fostering a sense of connection and inspiration. To encourage a sense of accomplishment, the class could conclude with a mini "doll show," where each child proudly showcases their finished crochet doll. This not only boosts their self-esteem but also provides an opportunity for them to appreciate each other's unique creations and share their newfound skills. Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Halimah Yusuf-Hassan, a mother of 3. I have a degree in human recourse management from the university of Wollongong in Dubai.
I am very passionate about craft and learning skills.
Growing up, I was the oldest and by default the designated baby sitter in the family 😂 This grew my love for children and their amazing minds! As an adult, I have been able to combine my love for kids and my love for crafts into one and impart the skills in children.
I teach gardening, cooking, baking and crochet for kids ages 5 to 16. With these skills, children learn social and interpersonal skills. The best part is learning these skills is so fun, you don't realise you are learning!!!
Pick up as many skills as you can - there's no such thing as “too skilful”. ONE SKILL AT A TIME.
