Description

Class Experience

In this class students will learn how to make their own bumble bees using a simple single crochet. I teach via "tell, show, do, feedback" which is similar to the gradual release model used in schools. I will share a document that has written instructions that students can follow, as well in class I will model the crochet techniques (slip knot, slip stitch, single crochet and chain). Over the class meetings students will be able to crochet their bumble bees and meet/converse with other...

Students will need yellow, black and white yarn of a medium 4 worsted (for H, I and J hooks). If using a chunky yarn go with a larger hook please. Stuffing/batting and doll eyes ( you can do with yarn if you'd like).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
