In this on-going class, students will watch a video/look at pictures of my guinea pigs, Marley, Milo, Molly, and Storm going on an adventure. The class will work together to write a narrative using the guinea pigs’ adventure as inspiration!

The goal of this on-going course is to inspire a love of writing! At the beginning of each class, I will introduce my furry friends (guinea pigs) Marley, Milo, Molly, and Storm. Then I will show either a pre-recorded video or pictures of them going on a special adventure (different themed adventure each week). The students and I will use this as inspiration, and work together to write a narrative! I will take the students' ideas and guide them on how to turn these into a narrative. We will...
Students will learn how to take their ideas and turn them into a story while working with the teacher and classmates.
I have been teaching English for the last 12 years which includes not only writing, but also reading, speaking, and listening. I have experience working with children of all ages and am excited to share my love and knowledge of guinea pigs too!
