Calling all young writers and storytellers! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey of imagination and storytelling? Join our Creative Chapter Book Writing Adventure, a dynamic and engaging weekly course designed especially for kids aged 8-12 who dream of writing their very own chapter book! In this fun and interactive course, we will meet once a week to explore the magic of writing. Each session is filled with creative lessons that cover essential aspects of crafting a chapter book, from building captivating characters and exciting plots to creating vivid settings and dialogue. Students will also have dedicated "free write" time each week to let their imagination soar and work on their personal manuscript. Every week, students have the opportunity to send up to 6 pages of their manuscript for personalized feedback from me. Please make sure to send those pages my way each week, as this feedback will help students refine their writing skills and make their stories shine. The class is designed to be flexible and enjoyable. Kids can join at any time and take breaks whenever needed, allowing them to progress at their own pace. By the end of the course, each student will have completed their very own chapter book, a wonderful accomplishment to celebrate and share. If you're excited about the possibility of seeing your chapter book in print, I'm here to help! I can show you how to self-publish your manuscript so you can hold a copy of your very own book in your hands and share it with family and friends. I am a published fiction writer who is dedicated to helping young authors discover the joy of writing and storytelling.
