Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
IEW experience is helpful, but not required,

Each week a set of 3 images will be given, students will be talked through questions to make an outline, which they will use to write a 3 paragraph story. We will review/learn structure and style techniques to dress-up the writing as well.

Describing pictures trains students in the art of event description, which informs their future efforts in narratives, research papers—even journalism! Learn how to put pictures into eloquent words with Structure and Style®! I will lead you through the process step-by-step.

IEW dress-ups and decorations will also be discussed.
