In this class, learners are going to play with words, put ideas together in amusing ways, and bring writing into a format that is easy to access. Pieces will receive short feedback each day along the way, and by the end of this class series learners will have a fully formed and revised story. Week one:...
Students will learn about the components of short story writing while they put them into action. By the end of the series they will have completed and revised a short work of fiction.
Each week learners will have a writing assignment that builds on the prior week's work.
Notebook/paper and pencil/pen. Handouts will be given, but printing them is optional.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
