Welcome to Creative Writing Club! Join us each week to write and chat about writing. This class is a social club for writers. Class Format: - Introductions and Check-In = 5 minutes - Chat Time = 15+ minutes *Chat time will depend on learner preference* - Writing Time = 20+ minutes - Share Time + Closing = 5-10 minutes Topics each week will be learner driven. Topics May include: - Writing Dialogue - Setting the Scene - Creating Characters - Building Worlds - What Word Count Means - Fiction vs Non-fiction - Genre Tropes (what to expect from certain genres and how to make sure your story has them) - and more... Learners may write a different short piece each week or they can spend each week working on building upon a previous story to make a novel.

Please note that learners' writing is their own and may contain themes that are out of the teacher's control.
Also note that what may seem inappropriate to some may not seem inappropriate to others.
**Please note: this class is for self-directed writers. This is not a class for learners to get help on homework assignments.**
Single Learner Classes:
- Single learner classes will go ahead as scheduled unless learner and family request otherwise.
- If discussion ends early, learners will have writing time at the end of class.

Hello, I am Ms T (or Ms Crystal).
I am a writer and writing teacher. I love writing stories and poems. I also love teaching about writing and poems.
I have participated in NaNoWriMo several times. I am currently finishing my revisions of my 1st complete Novel from NaNoWriMO (That I wanted to edit and revise. There were other complete novels I have not wanted to edit or revise). I have already written the rough draft for one of the sequels to this book. I plan to continue writing sequels for future NaNoWriMos.
I enjoy working with learners to improve their writing and build their writing confidence. Reviews
