Welcome! *Save my class and follow my page so you can easily find this class when you're ready to book! Now back to our regularly scheduled programming... Your student is invited to the Online Creative Writing Camp! 📝 Where each day students will dive into a lesson steeped in creative writing. 🎨 Each lesson will begin with a vocabulary word related to the reading and writing topic. 📚 After that, students will engage in a mini lesson on the creative task of the day – for example, one day will be dedicated to poetry, so students will receive a mini lesson on poems. 🌟 Then, students will be provided with a creative writing task to write about extensively and co-edit with a student partner. 🤝 As students work, I will drop in to check progress and provide feedback as well. 🕵️♂️ Students will then share their work – if they are comfortable doing so – with the class. 🎤 Students will also have time to work in small groups or pairs to provide each other constructive feedback on their writing. 🤝 I will provide them with a handout to guide their feedback. 📄 Some examples of things they will check for are spelling, punctuation, and writerly voice! 🎯 Because the reading and writing process is recursive, students will also read in this camp. 📖 Examples of model writing help students become better writers themselves. 🌟 Students are invited to complete writing tasks outside of class and receive feedback on a one-on-one basis via direct message. 📌 This allows the student to receive feedback in a manner that respects the process. 🌱 This camp requires three students to start so invite your friends or sign up as a family group!
Learning Goals
Students will increase their knowledge of various writing genres.

Hi there, Thank you for stopping by! My love of reading developed at an early age, where I read anything and everything I could get my hands on. These days I enjoy reading texts about self-development, business, beloved picture books and metaphysical texts.
Because I loved to read, I studied English literature and acquired a BA in English and Spanish, and an MA in English Literature. I also have a number of certifications for the instruction of English including, English Language Arts and Reading, English as an Additional Language, as well as an EC - 6, Generalist endorsement. I also hold the Swiss, International Baccalaureate endorsement for English Language Acquisition.
My teaching experience spans a great deal of the world through the medium of online learning, while my practical classroom experience includes teaching in schools in America, Turkey and Thailand.
Students who study under my tutelage usually see significant progress, as I meet students where they are, and builds their confidence and abilities in all of the English domains reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In this way, my students are able to achieve their learning goals in any academic setting.
