Welcome to the Creative Queer Kid Club (*SMALL GROUP*)! ** $5 off your first Queer Kid Class with me: MALDOLGBTQ5 ** This is a safe space for all LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse learners (Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, etc. - no diagnosis needed) who want to use their creative energy to make art or crafts while meeting, and connecting with new friends and discussing interesting topics. This class is especially intended for those who prefer and thrive to be a part of a smaller group. Students will sometimes have the chance to vote on the Outschool classroom for which craft to make or which topic to discuss. Discussions include various topics, ideas, or favorites (books, movies, music, etc.) that may or may not be related to LGBTQ+. Here are some examples of discussion topics: ~What's your favorite video game? ~Should everyone wear pronoun pins? Why/why not? ~If you could make an LGBTQ+ movie, what genre would it be? Each class will start with an icebreaker to help everyone get to know each other. Then, if we are working on a specific project Teacher Monica will do a quick intro on the project. Otherwise, learners are free to work on their own art project or craft, or draw in their sketchbooks! Once everyone is working on a project, or are just ready to hangout, discussion topics or small group games can commence!
