Class Experience

Join this fun, creative, Christmas writing class this holiday season!  We will be writing letters to Santa from the perspective of a well-known character as well as letters from Santa to the character.  We will work on brainstorming, organization, character development, voice, spelling, and punctuation as we write the letters. I worked for six years as a Waldorf school (K-12) librarian working closely with all class teachers. I am an expert in choosing developmentally appropriate reading and curriculum material for all students.   I am also a reading coach, private reading tutor, and ESL teacher. I love teaching children to read and love to see their immense excitement with their successes! I teach kindy-high school students from all around the world.  I work with students at all levels, struggling to gifted.  My expertise includes finding what makes kids successful so that they want to keep learning. I also taught middle school creative writing at the Waldorf school.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
