Create Your Own Website on Squarespace: Beginning Squarespace and Website Design is a three-session course to help students create and design their own website through Squarespace. The student will learn about using different templates and designs and create and express their own individuality and creativity. Session 1: In Session 1 the student will learn the basics of Squarespace. I will teach the student the difference between the pages, templates, index, blocks, blogs, and sections. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the different types of templates, and designs. All the work and images used will be used through the Squarespace website for class purposes. We will complete a one-page design during the first class. The student is encouraged to work on their page if they do not complete it within the class session. Session 2: In Session 2 the student will add on to additional pages and indexes to their Squarespace website. The class will begin with answering any questions the students may have a reviewing the previous class. The students will also have time to show their current pages that they have designed. We will begin to create, use the blog section of Squarespace. Students will also learn how to use and add images and videos to the Squarespace website. Session 3: In Session 3 class will begin with a review and question and answer. We will learn how to use buttons to connect the pages together to add with more content building for the students' Squarespace website design. Students are encouraged to work on their Squarespace website after class. This is a beginner's course and the basics will be covered in the Squarespace Website Design Class.

Hello,
I'm Ms. Brittany! I have been teaching for over five years and I love teaching to students. I have a B.A. in Psychology, a minor in Greek and Roman Mythology, and my 120 -hour TEFL Certification. I have taught in the United States and in Honduras at a Bilingual Spanish/English School. The subjects that I taught were U.S. History, Philosophy, Speech, Social Science, and Marketing and Advertising.
I'm also a Certified Yoga Instructor and have taught yoga and meditation for over three years. The classes that I teach are Baby and Me Yoga, Preschool and Elementary Yoga, Teen Yoga, Adult Yoga, and Continuing Yoga for Beginners.
