This class will eliminate the stress that comes with not knowing what to do or learning things in a short period of time. During this class students will learn how to format and arrange questions, include images, upload videos add music, and answers During this course, students will get the opportunity to create the beginnings of a wonderful presentation that is sure to wow their peers and teachers. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses Google Slides. Students should use a laptop or Chromebook for this class. Kahoot! can be done from an iPad or tablet but it works best to create Kahoot! games quickly on a laptop, PC, or Chromebook.

I'm Ms. Shiren!
I am an International IB Teacher. Our family has worldschooled for over 8 years. Along my journey, I have created Colossal Academy, a farming micro-school. I enjoy watching the learning process for students age 9-14. Adolescence is such a delicate part of life when young people cement themselves into who they will become. It is critical to have sensitive teachers that offer rigor as well as loving guidance.
In the classroom, I am engaged with students and build a connection through the screen. Through the interdisciplinary approach, students engage in materials, ask big questions, develop speaking, and collaboration strategies.
