Create Your Own Adventure--Dragon/Dinosaur: Reading and creating Together

Welcome adventures! Come with me to practice reading, but remember to bring your imagination and creativity because even I don't know where our adventure will take us today!
In this class, each learner will have the chance to read a part of our story. After each section is read there are two options of how the story can proceed. As a class we will vote on these options and our choice will determine what comes next in the story. There are over 30 different paths that we can take on our adventure! When we reach the end, we will brainstorm together to write the final resolution for our adventure. 
This class is a good fit for students who can decode words with short vowels, common digraphs (ex: ea, ee, ie, ai), CVCe patterns, hard and soft "c" and "g," and words with a silent "k" (kn). The story is written for a second grade reading level.
