This class is a continuation of the Create and Code your First App (Introduction)" Class Students must be acquainted with: - Cyber Security & Apps - Basic interaction with Thunkable Platform - App Building & Live Testing Each class meeting is full of projects based on Passion, Collaboration with Peers, and in a Playful Spirit. It is full of hands-on Memorable, Meaningful, and Motivating activities, specially designed for girls and boys, 10 to 14 years old. In this online live course, each student will: - Participate in a class with other children his/her age group (10-14) using a Design Process to create their own design mobile app. - Enjoy three hours of personalized project-based instruction and interest-based projects. - Learn to design, build, code, test, and debug one mobile app. - Collaborate with small groups (6 students maximum per session) with one adult certified live instructor. - Students must be passionate about collaborating, coding, learning, and creating. Syllabus/Topics covered: Day1 (Think Creatively) - App Designing & Coding - Event Handlers & Drawers Day2 (Reason Systematically) - UI & UX - App Coding & Testing Day3 (Work Collaboratively) - App Testing & Debugging - Sharing & Downloading Code The 60 minutes classes are incredibly interactive: 15-minute lecture using videos and slides. 30-minute self-paced creation. 15-minute discussion and sharing of achievements.
