Beginner - Intermediate Level
Welcome to "Create 2 Games in Scratch"! This self-paced, pre-recorded course is designed to introduce students to the exciting world of coding using Scratch. In these fun and engaging video lessons, the students will enhance their Scratch coding, create their own interactive project, and explore the endless possibilities of coding. Each accompanying video takes about 20 minutes to view. You may pause and restart as many times as necessary. The projects may take an additional 40 minutes to complete. You will be assigned a simple project of creating your own game or modifying your current project at the end of the course. This could take a minimum of 40 minutes to a maximum of 4 hours depending on the complexity of the game. I will communicate daily and will respond to inquiries within 48 hours. Time to have some fun with Scratch!

Currently, I am a technical product manager. I have been data analyst for 15 years. I have taught coding to students for the past 10 years as well. I will be teaching coding classes including Scratch, Python, etc. using Platforms such as Scratch, Tynker and Coding.org. Computer technology is changing the world and the earlier students start engaging with coding, the faster they will able to understand how they can use STEM to make positive changes in the world.
Also, I am an author. I use STEAM related themes to teach students the importance of STEAM.
