Crazy for Christmas Private Piano and Music Lesson for 5-18 year olds!
In this private lesson that can be taken again and again (with new material each time!), Amy's current and new students will be taught how to play a Christmas song and have silly fun learning about music through worksheets, games and more.

The purpose of this class is for students to learn piano and gain music education, engage in social interaction with Teacher Amy, and have fun with a Christmas theme. Students can take this class again and again throughout the month of December and will be provided with fresh, new songs and (online or printable) worksheets each time. Each student will be taught at least part of a song if a beginner, or a more advanced song if they are Amy's current student or a new/advanced student. Students will also have silly, laid-back fun working through cheerful Christmas-y worksheets. No experience is necessary to participate and only a small keyboard is required to learn a song. We will do the worksheets online through the Zoom share but if you prefer to have worksheets to print for after-class fun, have your child bring crayons or other writing tools to class. Amy's purpose is for each child to feel valued, learn about music, and have fun. ESL students are WELCOME to sign up for this class! I sometimes create Kahoot (an approved outside platform) quizzes to help the student learn in a fun way. There is no need for the parent to have an account, nor does the student ever log in without me.
Learning Goals
Students will learn at least part of a Christmas song or more than one Christmas song if they are advanced. It all depends on their current level. They will also be introduced to how to read music or musical terms or other more advanced theory, again, depending on if/how much previous experience they have had.
