Crash Course: Fine-Tuning Math Concepts for 7th Graders

Schedule of topics:  (The schedule of topics is subject to change based on parent request and student need.)
Week 1:  Integers- Student will work to master adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing positive and negative numbers.
Week 2: Algebraic Equations and Problem-Solving (Part 1)- Student will review deficits found in the understanding of pre-algebra and algebra concepts, and work toward mastery.
Week 3:  Algebraic Equations and Problem-Solving (Part 2)- Student will continue to work toward mastery of pre-algebra and algebra concepts.
Week 4: Algebraic Equations and Problem-Solving (Part3)- Student will continue to work toward mastery of pre-algebra and algebra concepts.
Week 5: Ratios and Proportions- Student will work to master problem-solving where ratios are used as well as finding proportionality for a given constant.
Week 6: Statistics and Probability- Student will work to master an understanding of statistics and probability as applied in real-world situations. 
*If concepts are fully mastered prior to course completion, review games will be incorporated in the remainder of the sessions.
