In this fun interactive class students will learn to use crafts supplies to make beautiful glass gem fridge magnets. The sky is the limit on the creativity they can use. We will turn scrap paper, craft paper, photos and more to create these beautiful magnets that can be collected or gifted. This class will be conducted in and warm friendly atmosphere where the students can interact with one another, share ideas and share their finished magnets with the class. Please see the supply list to make sure you have what you need when you attend the class.

Some parental guidance may be needed as the student will be using scissors and low temp glue gun.

1 - 1.5" Flat glass gems (clear) craft paper, pictures, photos etc. mod podge or other clear drying glue .75" ceramic magnets low temp glue gun and glue sticks pencil scissors paint brush for glue

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
