Hey parents! Are you looking for a way to help your kids make new friends and explore their passion for arts and crafts? Look no further than the Crafting Social Club! This fun and supportive group meets once a week to chat, play games, and hang out with each other. In our weekly meetings, I will guide the kids through a variety of interesting topics like movies, hobbies, books, animals, and more. All while the kids are doing some crafting. There will also be breakout rooms that allow kids to engage with one another in a more personal setting. This helps kids to establish friendships. So, if your child is looking for a cool place to hang out, sign them up for the Crafting Social Club today! A Note About Breakout Rooms: I will hop in between the rooms to keep the conversation going and check on the kids. Each week, kids should bring fun craft supplies to do art with their friends! Conversation topics and art projects for the upcoming weeks are listed below! This is a laid-back class, so if your child wants to design something besides the project theme, that is okay, too! Each class will have a project theme and a couple of examples that I will show off at the beginning. However, projects and materials are flexible so that you don't have to worry about gathering extra supplies, and the kids can put their own creative spin on things. 2024 Class Schedule: September: Week 1: (September 2-6) Scarecrow Art Week 2: (September 9-13) Draw your favorite Book Character Week 3: (September 16-20) Crafty Day: Create Your Own Art! Hello! I'm Briann. Welcome to my classroom page! I hope you find something here you like. I started my journey Outschool teaching social classes. But if you look at my class listing offerings, you'll notice that I have expanded from that. I now offer three different types of classes.
Live Group Classes:
All of my live group classes are social classes. Each class offers breakout rooms so kids can get into small groups and build an online community of friends their own age. These classes are offered in the afternoons and work great as a recess break for homeschoolers or kids who just want extra time to talk and hang out in the summer. You can check out the various class themes below.
Self-Paced Classes:
The second type of classes I offer are self-paced extracurricular or problem-solving classes. You can find these in the self-paced tab below. These are niche classes that address particular topics, like how drugs and alcohol affect your brain or how to do long division. So, if your learner wants to know about something specific or is struggling with a particular concept of math, then take a look at these classes.
Groups
I offer several interesting groups that kids can sign up for. The groups are a mix of social and educational experiences and are paid for via monthly subscription. Groups don't have live meetings; instead, they are like private Reddit pages for kids! Kids can make posts, talk with others in the group via post chats, and even upload photos and videos. My most popular group so far has been my minecraft Java group that gives your learner access to the group board and a private Java server to build and explore.
