Welcome to my creative classroom! In this exciting and imaginative craft class, we’ll start by getting to know each other and sharing the supplies we’ve brought. Then the real fun begins! Using only what we have, we’ll take on a random craft challenge from my special list. With a timer set, we’ll each race against the clock to bring our ideas to life! Challenges might include crafting a playground structure (like a slide or merry-go-round), a go-kart, or even a tiny backpack. This class is friendly, non-competitive, and full of laughter and creativity. I’ve been doing this activity for years, and it’s always a blast! Let’s think outside the box, have fun, and create together! 🎨✨ All levels are welcome, I will provide help and examples.
Students will be challenged to create structures and objects with the materials on hand.
Learners need to bring to class the following as necessary: scissors, tape, glue, paper, cardboard (small boxes or pieces of craft paper) Not necessary but beneficial: straws, paper clips, bits and pieces of foam, caps, empty bottles, paper cups etc.
I have taught arts and crafts in elementary school and online for more than 20 years. Making sculptures from cardboard, bottles and found objects is one of my favorite projects.
